“Frenchy’s Place” is a fully furnished open floor plan house with a stocked and well equipped kitchen. Beginning May 2017, Frenchy’s Place is offered at one price nightly, for occupancy by one group.  The house can comfortably sleep 8 adults, and set up is detailed below.

  • Bedroom 1 (master bedroom suite with gas fireplace) with one queen bed and one twin bed and its own bathroom
  • Bedroom 2 (one queen bed) with private access to the common bathroom
  • Loft (2 double beds and a single bed) with hallway access to the common first floor bathroom

The master bedroom has its own exit, and each bedroom has securely locking doors. The kitchen will be well stocked with food and drinks suited for breakfast: coffee, creamer, milk, juices, oatmeal, cereals, fruit, eggs, bacon, pancake mix, etc. Depending on her schedule, Alicia may be able to prepare breakfast for guests at an agreed-upon time.

The Barn

The barn serves as a wonderful facility with five bedrooms on the ground level and a bar and recreation area on the second level. The barn also has a large deck on the South side with trap shooting capabilities. This addition to the hunting operation has complemented our modern, seven-bedroom farmhouse and the Granary lodge (added in 2003). The “Barn” has provided greater flexibility in accommodating and entertaining hunting parties.

The Granary

In 2003, we converted the granary to a lodge with bedrooms, lounge, bar, and TV. This now adds additional flexibility in accommodating and entertaining hunting parties. The converted granary has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, washer/dryer, and a loft with a bar and lounge area, keg refrigerator, and flat-screen television with satellite connection.
